Nipsey spearheaded this project from concept to final product over the course of last year, flying to meetings, reviewing samples, bringing in material references he liked, and most importantly ensuring that it reflected his style authentically with no compromise. Each detail from logo placement, fit, colorways, and materials was thoughtfully done. His signature style and DNA can be found in each garment that’s part of this collection from the Khaki suit to the tracksuit.
The 19-piece collection features PUMA’s signature tracksuits, including a marathon-themed MCS tracksuit, two different color ways of the iconic California sneaker, and was designed using measurements of Nipsey’s body. All pieces include various overlays and imagery signature to PUMA and Nipsey, including elements created to represent California and Nipsey’s The Marathon Continues messaging throughout.
The debut collection between the two brands was designed in full with Nipsey ahead of his untimely passing earlier this year. PUMA will be donating 100% of the net proceeds from the sales of the collection to the Neighborhood “Nip” Foundation.
Look for the entire PUMA x TMC debut collection to release on September 5th in-stores and online.
