A Pearlized Take on a Vans Classic
The Old Skool 36 Pearlized builds on Vans’ embellishment narrative, applying signature pearl and crystal detailing across a distressed upper. The result evokes a well-traveled pair that has been customized and reworked over time, giving each colorway a distinctive, lived-in character.
Yacht Club Leads the Rollout
The Yacht Club colorway opens the Fall 2026 lineup, drawing inspiration from sailing flags around the world. Its nautical color blocking is paired with the irreverent energy of ’90s sportswear, creating a bold interpretation of the classic Vans design.
To support the launch, Vans followed DJ Hank Korsan at Paris’ Fête de la Musique, highlighting the model through a cultural celebration of music, creativity and self-expression.
From Style 36 to Old Skool
The story of the Old Skool 36 dates back to 1977, when Style 36 became the second skate shoe created by Vans and the first to feature the iconic Sidestripe™. The model was renamed the Old Skool™ in the early ’90s and later became an official Vans Classic.
Its signature design language includes a high-gloss sidewall and intricate stitching. The Old Skool 36 Pearlized continues that legacy while reflecting the Vans Premium ethos, with an emphasis on modern comfort, elevated materials and updated form, fit and feel.
Fall 2026 Release Dates
The collection will release throughout Fall 2026 on Vans.com, at select Vans retail stores and through wholesale partners. The EMEA rollout includes:
