This season, adidas has reunited with Noah to present the next installment of their ongoing collaborative partnership. Building on co-founder Brendon Babenzien’s eclectic suite of influences, the collection brings together the New York label’s quintessentially considered aesthetic language with classic archival adidas looks in the form of footwear, apparel, and accessories.
Playfully oscillating between sporting and workwear inspirations, the apparel and accessories offering features a navy French terry hoodie, a white cotton t-shirt, and co-branded cotton socks – as well as matching white cotton workwear set consisting of a jacket and painter pants. The collection also boasts a quartet of matching floral pieces in pastel shades – comprising of shorts, track pants, a jacket, and a cap.
Continuing Noah’s exploration of the adidas archive, the footwear selection is made up of two signature silhouettes: the Probound and the Rod Laver Super. A take on a lesser-known hardwood classic, the Noah Probound features a white mesh upper, gray suede overlays, blue stripes, a navy, and red heel tab, and co-branded tongue detailing. Meanwhile, the Noah Rod Laver Super boasts a rubber outsole, matched with an upper featuring suede details. Noah’s unique stylistic sensibility is then brought to the fore through inverted color blocking on the left and right shoes, combining navy and green hues with co-branded shell details, which refer to the brand’s relationship with the sea, on the heel tabs.
Launching alongside the collection is a whimsical campaign that brings the products to life by juxtaposing subtle nautical references – an homage to Noah’s core identity – with basketball and tennis iconography.
