Nike has partnered with four international icons of style to create new expressions of sport in time for the world’s biggest sporting event this summer in Japan.
Sport-inspired collections from Yoon Ahn of AMBUSH, Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER, Chitose Abe of sacai, and Virgil Abloh’s Off-White each celebrate the unique ways sport manifests. The designers equally express the inherent style of athletes and athletic apparel, and individually, each approaches the theme from different points on the sporting spectrum.
Collectively, the initiative signifies the unifying value of sport as a spark of imagination, possibility, and vibrancy. Whether touching on the edges of sports culture, the rebellious spirit of barrier-breaking, the formation of new archetypes, or the exuberance of fandom, all lanes combine in honor of intentional movement.

The Nike x UNDERCOVER apparel collection fuses vintage basketball silhouettes with Japan’s unique streetball culture and celebrates the sport’s debut in Tokyo this summer. A bold celebration of the sport spectator, the Nike x UNDERCOVER collection marries art with a futuristic interpretation of performance apparel.

Nike x Ambush
The Nike x AMBUSH collection fearlessly animates the world of sport with Tokyo-inspired colors and futuristic styles. “I wanted to try something new and take a risk,” says designer Yoon Ahn. “The fun thing about fashion is that all these different elements can co-exist with functionality.”
Nike x SACAI
Says Chitose Abe of her latest Nike x sacai collection: “We put the sacai design codes with sportswear to create a simple yet unexpected silhouette that can be worn not only for performance but also in everyday life.”
