Nike & Converse Go Upside Down as the two brands team up with Netflix’s Stranger Things for a limited-edition drop built on Hawkins nostalgia and supernatural style.

A Return to Hawkins

Ahead of the show’s fifth and final season, Nike and Converse deliver a collection built on the eerie, retro energy of 1980s Hawkins. The range includes aged sneakers, story-driven graphics and apparel that blends vintage sportswear with a darker twist. Each piece feels like it survived the show’s timeline, offering fans a wearable snapshot of the Upside Down.

Aged Footwear With a Story

Leading the lineup is the Nike Dunk Low, released earlier in November. The silhouette looks frozen in time with worn leather, stained laces, a weathered midsole and Upside Down branding.
Joining it now are new versions of the Nike Field General High, Air Max 1, and LD-1000, each designed to echo pairs seen on-screen. Retro shapes, distressed finishes, themed logos and aged packaging make them feel like artifacts pulled straight from Hawkins.

Converse Delivers Deep Storytelling

The Converse x Stranger Things Chuck 70 stands out with a distressed canvas upper featuring WSQK radio graphics and embroidered sound waves. Hidden details nod to Robin’s iconic T-shirt, while extras like a Hawkins Hawk lace jewel, Demogorgon star on the Chuck patch, rubber chicken keychain and two lace sets complete the look.

The Converse Weapon arrives in a bold colorway inspired by the 1984 catalog. Premium leather, distressed underlays and a newspaper-style liner push the theme further. Vecna and Mind Flayer sock liners, sound wave perforations and custom jewels add layers of story for fans who want every detail.

Fans can also craft their own Hawkins-inspired Chuck Taylor All Star through Converse By You, making the collaboration even more personal.

Apparel With Hawkins DNA

The apparel lineup pairs cleanly with the footwear. A “Friends Don’t Lie” crew, hoodies, graphic tees, sweatpants and a vintage-style tracksuit carry references to the show. Each piece blends everyday comfort with storytelling details, creating a full look rooted in the world of Stranger Things.

A Collaboration With History

This drop marks the second collaboration between Nike, Converse and Stranger Things, following the popular two-part release from 2019. With the series nearing its conclusion, the new collection celebrates its legacy through design, nostalgia and bold fan service.

The collection releases globally December 4 on nike.com, converse.com, SNKRS and select retailers. The tracksuit drops exclusively at JD Sports, while the Dunk Low and “Friends Don’t Lie” crew arrived earlier on November 6. The final season of Neflix’s Stranger Things will roll out in three volumes from late November through New Year’s Eve.
