The PUMA x KidSuper The Gaffers collection merges football culture with Colm Dillane’s imaginative design, offering bold apparel and sneakers.

A Creative Play on Football Culture

PUMA and Colm Dillane, the mind behind KidSuper, reunite for another creative chapter with The Gaffers. Once again, the collection sits at the intersection of sport and artistic expression, drawing from Dillane’s signature storytelling and football-inspired visuals. This drop pays tribute to the iconic figures who command the sidelines — the coaches.

In the campaign, two coach archetypes face off in a theatrical clash: one loud and brash, the other stylish and suave. Featuring an ensemble cast and Dillane himself, the story unfolds with a mix of humor, drama, and sport, while also unveiling the new KidSuper FC pitch, a rooftop street-football haven in Brooklyn.

Apparel with a Storytelling Edge

The collection brings Dillane’s vibrant artistry into PUMA sportswear silhouettes. Highlights include a patterned T7 tracksuit, a color-blocked windbreaker, and a long hooded down coat decorated with playful doodles. Women’s pieces such as leggings and long-sleeve tops carry the same design language, while accessories like the Grip Bag, beanie, and cap complete the look. Each piece channels vintage football aesthetics through KidSuper’s imaginative filter.

Footwear Blending Heritage and Innovation

Footwear is central to The Gaffers. Two silhouettes stand out: the retro PUMA Brasil, reissued in gum-soled, distressed variations that nod to 1970s football heritage, and the modern V-S1, a bold reinterpretation of early 2000s performance shoes. The V-S1 features asymmetrical lacing, strong accents, and a unique pitch-inspired upper that feels distinctly KidSuper.

Looking Ahead: PUMA x KidSuper The Gaffers Impact

The Gaffers is more than a collection — it’s an ongoing dialogue between sport and culture. By merging storytelling with product design, PUMA and KidSuper continue to redefine how football heritage is expressed off the pitch. The collection drops September 1, 2025, at PUMA.com, flagship locations, and select retailers worldwide.
