The Jordan Brand x Levi’s Air Jordan 3 Collection brings together denim heritage and basketball legacy through footwear and apparel rooted in culture.

What to know
  • The new Jordan Brand x Levi’s collection explores craftsmanship and sport culture through new Air Jordan 3 styles and a full apparel range.
  • Four Air Jordan 3 colorways celebrate distinct communities and moments, finished with Jumpman branding and the Levi’s Red Tab at the heel.
  • The footwear is supported by nine apparel styles, including a Pinnacle Varsity Jacket, a Type III Trucker, and a T-shirt reworking Levi’s 1990s “Button Your Fly” graphic.
  • Releases begin January 24, followed by a staggered global rollout through February.

Greatness attracts greatness. That idea defines the latest collaboration between Jordan Brand and Levi’s. Both brands are cultural forces with deep roots in sport, style, and self-expression. Over decades, they have shaped communities through authenticity and consistency.

A Shared Language of Craft and Culture

This collection builds on the partners’ longstanding relationship. It blends Levi’s denim expertise with Jordan Brand’s basketball DNA. As a result, familiar silhouettes feel refreshed. Premium materials and archival details guide the execution. At the same time, the designs remain grounded in modern streetwear.

Four Interpretations of the Air Jordan 3

At the center of the release is the Jordan Brand x Levi’s Air Jordan 3. It arrives in four distinct colorways. The Rigid edition pairs indigo denim with black-on-black elephant print. This reinforces one of the silhouette’s most iconic elements.

The Black colorway takes a more refined approach. It combines pebbled leather with black denim panels. An embroidered black denim heel with Nike Air branding completes the look.

The Year of the Horse colorway launches for Lunar New Year in China, Japan, and Korea. It features unbleached ecru denim and pony hair panels. Red chain-stitch embroidery nods to the lunar calendar. Meanwhile, the LA Exclusive edition drops during NBA All-Star Weekend. It blends pebbled leather with blue denim accents and “City of Angels” embroidery.

Denim Codes Through Apparel

The apparel collection expands the story beyond footwear. Athletic silhouettes meet denim tradition across the range. The Pinnacle Varsity Jacket anchors the lineup. It features a Melton wool body, leather sleeves, and vintage-inspired graphics from both archives.

Elsewhere, the Type III Trucker updates a Levi’s classic with a cropped fit. An oversized Wings logo defines the back. A football jersey, overshirt jacket, fleece zip hoodie, and graphic T-shirt round out the offering.

Campaign and Cultural Voices

The campaign brings the collection to life through community voices. Styling is led by Cam Hicks. The cast includes filmmaker Spike Lee, artist Rio Amor, skater Josh Velez, and bucket drummer Jay Wright. Together, they connect past influence with present culture.

Release Information

The Year of the Horse colorway launches January 24 in China. Japan and Korea follow on January 30. The Black and Rigid colorways release February 5 in San Francisco. The LA Exclusive edition drops February 13 in Los Angeles.

The full Jordan Brand x Levi’s collection becomes available globally on February 20. It launches via Levi’s, SNKRS, and select retailers. Early access is available to Levi’s Red Tab members through draw entry.
