Converse and Liverpool FC have partnered for the first time to unveil a limited-edition capsule collection. Expanding the game for a new generation of fans, the lifestyle capsule celebrates the creative and diverse nature of the club’s supporters.
The collaboration releases with nine pieces, dual-branded with LFC and Converse logos. Two standouts: the iconic Chuck 70 high-top sneakers, which are covered with Liver birds, sea holly (the county flower of Liverpool) and YNWA, and the woven heritage varsity jacket, with special references to the 1984 European Cup finals ticket, where the Reds beat Roma on penalties. The collection also includes a bucket hat, Run Star Hike sneakers, a polo shirt, a T-shirt, shorts and a tracksuit top and bottoms.
“The city as a whole is very accepting of everyone with different backgrounds, people brought up in different ways,” says LFC defender Andy Robertson. “We see that day to day with our club staff, and we see it week to week with the fans coming through the turnstiles. As a city, it’s amazing what they do, but as a club, they’ve followed in the footsteps. Liverpool is open to everyone.”
