Uniting the worlds of streetwear and luxury, BAPE and MCM are preparing to join forces for a graphic-rich collaboration the brings together each label’s signature detailing. Naturally, fans can expect premium leather and loads of bold camouflage.
Though only a single teaser image has been revealed, it showcases a white T-shirt with a camouflage Ape Head imbued with MCM logos throughout. Expect to see similarly hybridized motifs throughout the range, which will include an identically-patterned tracksuit, a Baby Milo sweater — complete with cognac and brown MCM tones — and various other tees and accessories. BAPE’s Shark graphic will grace various MCM leather goods, including a backpack, weekender bag and large & mini wallets, finished with premium touches like gold metal hardware, black leather piping and a small co-branded metal plaque.
The BAPE x MCM capsule drops on October 26 so expect more information to arrive shortly.
