Vans, the global icon of creative expression, is proud to announce the third collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories with eight time, Grammy-award-winning artist and Vans global music ambassador Anderson .Paak. The Vans x Anderson .Paak Vanderson Collection is a unique capsule that honors both the past and present while maintaining the individuality and “Off The Wall” personality of both the artist and brand.
As the first official global music ambassador for Vans, Anderson .Paak perfectly embodies the style of creative expression that has defined Vans for generations. The latest footwear and apparel collection from Anderson is inspired by heritage, creativity, and uplifting his community. In celebration of his unique style and successful past Vans collaborations, both teams are excited to support this continued creative partnership and debut this campaign that hits close to home. Directed by Anderson himself, it features Marsai Martin as well as Anderson’s family, including his son, sister, nieces, and nephew – Soul Rasheed, Roni Baize, Brooklyn Baize, Knight Baize, Kamia Timan, Paris Timan, and Milan Timan.
“Vans was super patient with me on this one,” Anderson .Paak shared. “We met every week in Malibu and designed these shoes in the California sunshine. This is my best drop yet and I’m so proud of what we’ve come up with!”
Anderson’s signature footwear style, the EPaak Sport, mixes Vans’ classic Off The Wall style with a subtle print— black paisley layered over black suede offers a chance to take a closer look and appreciate the details not available at first sight. The Epaak Sport boasts a gusseted tongue, custom foxing details, double stitching for increased durability and a drop-in sock liner for all-day comfort. A more distinct earth-tone paisley print carries over to the Authentic in the Anderson .Paak sand colorway, while the Old Skool 36 DX is offered up in a muted Anderson .Paak green tone. Inspired to dress the whole family, the footwear assortment also includes kids and toddler sizing.
The apparel collection leads with the Vanderson tie-dye short-sleeve tee in bleached sand with Vanderson screen printing across the front. The Vanderson straight-leg pant in capers features tonal paisley jacquard and slight flare at the leg opening, while the Vanderson jacket in the same tone features button pocket detailing on the front chest. For finishing touches, the Vanderson Sock in sand with an all-over paisley print, reversible bucket hat, and an AP-designed Vanderson Robe brings the entire ‘fit together.
