For three consecutive years now, Supreme, the skateboarding brand famous for its Box Logo, is back with a third collaborative collection for Fall 2019 with Lacoste, the tennis-inspired clothing brand famous for its Green Crocodile. While Supreme is known for its many collaborations, this one with Lacoste dropped on fans unexpectedly in 2017 and seems to be growing into an annual and long-term partnership now having continued from 2018.
For Fall 2019, the Supreme x Lacoste collection consists of all your usual Tennis suspects, from Pique Long Sleeve Polos with matching Pants and 6-Panel Hats, to Puffy Half-zip Pullovers with matching Track Pants. Although not the case with the whole collection, these pieces just mentioned, along with this round’s accessorizing Messenger Bags and Beanies, see a down-play of branding which is muted by their respective colors.
In contrast, the louder pieces come in the forms of Wool Bomber Jackets that feature a large Green Crocodile at the back, colorful referee-inspired Stripe Cardigans, and Hooded Sweatshirts with matching Sweatshorts that boast “Lacoste” and “Supreme” in the front.
Supreme x Lacoste Fall 2019 will be available online and in-store at Supreme’s New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London and Paris locations on September 26, while Japan will see a September 28 release.
