PUMA is making history with the launch of the PUMA Portugal Kits. This marks the first-ever partnership between the sportswear giant and the Portuguese national football teams. The new jerseys not only celebrate Portugal’s football legacy but also introduce a fresh, modern design. Both the men’s and women’s teams feature unique kits.
A Tribute to Portugal’s Legacy
The PUMA Portugal Kits pay tribute to Portugal’s rich football history while embracing modern design. For instance, the Home kit for the men’s team has a red base with gold and green accents. Meanwhile, the women’s jersey uses red, green, mint, and black accents. Moreover, both jerseys proudly display the Quinas emblem, which connects the design to Portugal’s national heritage.

A Futuristic Vision for the Away Kit
In contrast, the Away kit takes a bold approach by reimagining the Quinas symbol. The men’s jersey features a white base with red and green graphics, while the women’s version comes in mint green with red, black, and green details. This design reflects the intersection of art, technology, and football in today’s Portugal, demonstrating the country’s forward-looking spirit.

Performance and Sustainability
Additionally, the PUMA Portugal Kits are crafted for both performance and sustainability. The Authentic version uses ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which reduces weight and friction, ensuring maximum performance on the field. In contrast, the Replica version offers a more relaxed fit, ideal for casual wear or game days. Both versions incorporate PUMA’s dryCELL technology, which keeps players and fans dry. Furthermore, the Replica kits are made from at least 95% recycled textile waste, reinforcing PUMA’s commitment to sustainability.

The Future of Portuguese Football
According to Marco Mueller, PUMA’s Senior Director of Product Line Management, the brand is proud to introduce these new kits. They reflect the passion, culture, and history of Portugal. Nuno Moura, FPF’s Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer, emphasizes that these kits inspire players and fans alike. Therefore, the launch of the PUMA Portugal Kits marks the start of a new era for the Portuguese national teams.

The kits are now available in both Authentic and Replica versions. You can find them at PUMA stores, PUMA.com, and select retailers worldwide, starting January 7, 2025.
