Puma Opens Studio48, a dynamic new creative hub at its German headquarters, designed to foster innovation and elevate the brand’s design excellence
PUMA has launched Studio48, a creative hub at its headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. This space allows designers and creatives to collaborate and develop innovative concepts for performance and Sportstyle products. It also supports PUMA’s goal of achieving sustainable growth by elevating its brand.

Studio48: A Space for Creativity and Innovation
Studio48 spans 500 square meters (5,300 square feet) and features advanced tools like 3D printers, sewing machines, and embroidery equipment. It also includes a product testing area, a photo studio, and a meeting space. These resources help designers experiment with materials and refine their ideas.
The hub bridges PUMA’s sports performance and Sportstyle lines by combining functionality with bold design. PUMA’s Vice President of Creative Direction & Innovation, Heiko Desens, said, “Studio48 gives our designers a space to brainstorm, explore materials, and craft innovative products.”

A Global Design Community and Brand Elevation
Studio48 unites PUMA’s global design community through workshops and events. During the opening event in December, upcycling expert Nicole McLaughlin led a workshop on circularity. Designers from PUMA’s locations worldwide attended, emphasizing the hub’s collaborative spirit.
PUMA also announced a plan to open another creative space in Los Angeles. This new space will target the U.S. market and inspire future products and campaigns.

Redefining the Future of Design
Through Studio48, PUMA aims to set a new standard in sportswear design. This hub combines cutting-edge tools with collaboration, enabling the brand to create innovative products that excel in performance and style. As PUMA pursues its brand elevation strategy, Studio48 will play a crucial role in its creative success.
