The Nike Air Max Muse introduces a fresh vision for women’s sneakers—one that fuses innovation with personal style. This new silhouette blends exaggerated proportions, sculptural lines, and expressive materials to deliver a statement shoe built for everyday versatility.
Developed using computational design, the Air Max Muse filters key elements like size, shape, texture, and cushioning to reimagine how comfort and design come together. The result is a sneaker that feels soft, looks powerful, and centers Nike’s Air technology in an entirely new way.
Designed to Be Noticed
The sneaker’s standout feature is its bold heel unit, wrapped in a semi-gloss shell that draws the eye directly to the Air cushioning. A heightened arch and sculpted outsole further elevate the silhouette, giving it a uniquely feminine and futuristic stance.
A molded synthetic leather overlay creates a foundation for expressive materials and evolving colorways. From soft textures to striking finishes, every element was chosen to feel new and unexpected.

“Our goal was to design an entirely new Air Max model focused on both expression and comfort… sleek, beautiful and bold — while offering the kind of innovation and cushion she expects from the Air Max franchise.”
Inspired by Movement and Style
Worn by Nike talents like Jordan Chiles, Qinwen Zheng, and stylist Veneda Carter, the Air Max Muse has already caught attention. It balances sport-inspired innovation with fashion-driven flair, perfect for styling across moments—on the move or off-duty.
According to Nike Materials Design Director Marya Chan:
“It was important for the materials to surprise her… creating a new, modern expression that can be styled in multiple ways to enhance her everyday look.”
The launch colorway, Silver Metal, sets the tone for more vibrant expressions coming throughout 2025.
Looking Forward: The Air Max Muse Rollout
The Nike Air Max Muse will release on December 11 at select Nike retail partners, followed by a global SNKRS launch on January 10, 2025. Nike will roll out additional colorways and textile options throughout the year, showcasing its ongoing commitment to innovation and style for women.
