JD Sports continues expansion with a new store in the Piraeus Tower
If you are a fan of street fashion and sneakers, you have probably heard of JD Sports. The British retailer that offers premium sports and streetwear products from top brands. With over 3,400 locations worldwide across 32 countries in the JD Group, JD Sports stores are the top destination for all the new Street Fashion collections of sneakers and sportswear.
JD Sports has been operating in Greece since September 2022, right after Cosmos Sport joined the JD Sports group. The first JD Sports flagship store opened in Smart Park Spata, followed by a second store in River West Shopping Mall.
But JD Sports is not stopping there. It has also expanded to Cyprus, where it opened its first store in Limassol in November 2022. The store is located in MYMall Limassol and offers a similar shopping experience as the Athens stores.
The Piraeus Tower Store
And there is more to come. JD Sports is planning to open its third store in Greece in late 2023. The store will be located in the iconic Piraeus Tower, which is being renovated into a green building with offices, shops, and restaurants. The Piraeus Tower is situated at the starting point of the Athenian Riviera, a coastal area that attracts tourists and locals alike.
The new store will be another landmark for JD Sports in Greece and will showcase its commitment to offering premium sports and street fashion products to its customers. Covering an area over 1000m2, It will feature exclusive products from some of the most iconic brands in the industry, such as Nike, adidas, Jordan, Converse, Puma, Vans, New Balance, Reebok, Fila, Under Armour, The North Face, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, and Polo Ralph Lauren.
