Hailing from a small French village and now based in Helsinki, Doobie blends skateboarding with a love for fishing, and his new Vans colourway captures every quirky detail of that mix.
This updated Skate Old Skool goes far beyond the expected. Designed with performance and personality in mind, it includes a mesh stash pocket hidden in the tongue—a sly nod to skate culture’s cheeky roots. The hairy suede uppers are water-resistant, making them ideal for life on dry land or near the sea. Heavy-duty laces, 10oz canvas side panels, and an embroidered Sidestripe round out the rugged design.

The Doobie Skate Old Skool Net launches April 24th via select European skate shops and Vans.eu. The release pairs perfectly with Doobie’s Thrasher Cold Call, filmed in Athens and dropping the day before.
