The Brain Dead x adidas Originals Forest Hills collab reshapes tennis heritage with suede textures, bold colors, and subversive flair for Spring/Summer 2025.

A Bold Return: Brain Dead x adidas Forest Hills for SS25

After redefining the Stan Smith, Brain Dead and adidas Originals reunite with a fresh take on another classic — the Forest Hills. Their Spring/Summer 2025 collaboration revives the archival tennis silhouette, stripping away tradition and replacing it with a textured, two-tone, art-driven edge.

Reimagining the adidas Forest Hills

First introduced in 1976, the adidas Forest Hills was built for speed and breathability. This shoe weighs just 8.7 ounces, making it incredibly lightweight. Additionally, it features ventilation inspired by aerospace technology. As a result of these innovative design elements, the shoe has gained a strong reputation for both its innovation and style. Furthermore, its appeal has extended far beyond the confines of tennis courts, attracting attention from a diverse range of users.

In its SS25 evolution, the Brain Dead adidas Forest Hills ditches pristine white leather for hairy suede uppers, leather 3-Stripes, and co-branded elements. The colorways lean into earth tones with stark contrasts, evoking a mood that feels grounded, but far from conventional. It’s tennis style reworked for the streets — gritty, expressive, and unexpected.

Art Meets Sport in Apparel

The collection extends beyond footwear. In fact, Brain Dead offers a unique take on tennis apparel that blends classic silhouettes with unconventional aesthetics. For example, polos, shorts, and track pants come in natural tones, subtly altered to feel fresh. Additionally, hand-drawn graphics enhance crewnecks, t-shirts, and zip-up track tops, all infused with Brain Dead’s signature quirkiness. Overall, this collection perfectly captures a modern twist on traditional styles.

This isn’t performance wear for the polite tennis club. It’s a creative rebellion, dressed up in court staples and spun through a psychedelic filter.

Launch Details and Availability

The Brain Dead x adidas Originals Forest Hills collection drops on April 25th, available in limited quantities. You’ll find it on the adidas CONFIRMED app, at select adidas Originals retailers, and online at wearebraindead.com. Expect it to go fast — not just because of hype, but because it speaks to a new generation remixing tradition on their own terms.
