Celebrating 15 years, the Street Dance Festival is coming to Athens on February 8th, for the Battle of The Best 2020 event. Among the world known guests , Angyil from Red Bull Dance crew in her first appearance in Greece , Alex The Cage from Belgium who is considered one the best freestyle dancers in Europe and the talented Mr.Kriss from Czech Republic, will take over judging duties.
This year, the Festival is focusing on free expression and experimentalism in the Street Dance Theater Awards Solo Category. Inviting the restless artists to experiment and present solo Street Dance Theater shows without rules and limitations proving that dance is mostly art.
In the Battles , there will be a 1 vs 1 category for the Best Bboy / Bgirl and 2 vs 2 All Styles Battle, where dancer showcase their skills on different music styles. Also , for our little friends there will be a Breakdance 1 vs 1 contest for ages 7-12 and 13-17. Last but not least, on decks for the day , Dj Rawkuts and Dj TsiliSmile.
