Nike has revolutionized footwear once again with the Air Max Dn8, marking a new era of comfort and performance. This dynamic silhouette introduces Nike’s Dynamic Air technology across the full length of the foot. The result? An unparalleled walking experience, with a new interpretation of what it feels like to “walk on Air.”
Dynamic Innovation Meets All-Day Comfort
Built with two Air units and eight tubes, the Air Max Dn8 creates a sustained, pressurized flow from heel to forefoot. This innovative design enhances the cushioning, flow, and sensation of movement with every step. The shoe offers a springy, flexible feel, bringing elite athletic performance into everyday wear.
“For the Dn8, we wanted to be lower to the ground. We wanted to feel more Air. We wanted to improve transition,” says Jonathan Kosenick, Lead Designer for Men’s Sportswear. “All of those goals led us to design the shoe with eight Air chambers directly in contact with the ground, which allows the chambers to more effectively compress and be way more flexible, delivering a much bouncier, springier sensation that channels a Nike performance footwear approach into a shoe you want to wear every day.”
What’s New with Dynamic Air?
The Air Max Dn8 takes the best features of its predecessor, the Air Max Dn, and advances them further. The dual-pressured Air units, positioned in both the forefoot and heel, provide an enhanced responsiveness that adapts to your movement. The rear unit includes two pressurized chambers, with higher pressure (15 psi) in the back and lower pressure (5 psi) in the front. A similar configuration is found in the forefoot unit, ensuring consistent comfort throughout the day. The shoe provides optimal propulsion and all-day comfort for effortless movement, whether running errands or exploring the city.

The Air Max Dn8 doesn’t just perform; it looks great doing it. The shoe features a soft, breathable upper and premium materials, offering both durability and style. Inspired by the fluidity and motion of movement, the Air Max Dn8 stands out as a bold yet versatile option for daily wear.
“When designing the Dn8, we kept thinking about what makes some of our favorite classic Air Max models so great: that you can put them on and go, and no matter what happens over the course of the day, that shoe is not only going to succeed, it’s going to exceed expectations,” Kosenick continues. “We wanted to build a shoe that had the same sort of, ‘go anywhere, do anything’ character — an impulsivity, a versatility that will perform under any circumstance by harnessing the capabilities of Dynamic Air.”
The Global Debut of the Air Max Dn8 Campaign
The Air Max Dn8 combines groundbreaking technology with a global campaign highlighting eight unique collaborations between top athletes and world-class creatives. The campaign features innovative pairings, including Gabriel Moses with footballer Kobbie Mainoo, and Ilya Chemetoff with hurdler Masai Russell. These partnerships highlight the Air Max Dn8’s capabilities and creative potential, with each image offering a new interpretation of motion and experimentation.

The Air Max Dn8 is now available globally on nike.com and at select retailers. A Hyper Pink colorway launched on SNKRS on February 6, with a red colorway available worldwide on March 6. Additional colorways for men, women, and kids will follow in the coming weeks.
