First introduced over 50 years ago, the PUMA King left a lasting impact on football. In 1999, it evolved into the King Indoor, a version quickly adopted by style-forward youth in the early 2000s. Now, PUMA x Lack Of Guidance revisits this silhouette, bringing it into the spotlight once more with a minimalist, all-black King Indoor design.
All-Black Everything
For their first project with PUMA, Amsterdam-based Lack Of Guidance takes the King Indoor back to basics. The sneaker arrives in full matte black—from outsole to laces—crafted in smooth leather with stitched detailing. It stays true to the original shape while adding a refined sense of restraint. The fold-over lace cover keeps things clean and understated, giving the shoe a sleek and timeless profile.
Jersey Drop for SS25
Complementing the sneaker is a co-branded PUMA King Indoor football jersey, created for Spring/Summer 2025. Sponsored by Systemarosa, the jersey reflects Lack Of Guidance’s signature blend of retro sportswear and modern style. This piece will be available exclusively through Lack Of Guidance, adding another layer to the drop’s limited-edition appeal.
Release Details
The PUMA x Lack Of Guidance King Indoor and jersey release on July 18, 2025, exclusively at lackofguidance.com and the brand’s Amsterdam store. A wider launch for the King Indoor follows on July 19, landing at select global retailers.
