THE NEW FILM CELEBRATES THE UNIFYING POWER OF BASKETBALL CULTURE, FROM CHICAGO TO PARIS AND BEYOND.
As a designer, DJ and artist, Virgil Abloh has united the seemingly disparate worlds of fashion, music, art and sports. His journey to become the Men’s Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton has been well-documented; it includes building his brand Off-White, traveling the world and reimagining the Air Jordan I. His latest Jordan Brand collaboration is a new Air Jordan V.
In the new UNITE film above, Virgil says, “MJ is my superman, from the streets of Chicago to the runways of Paris.” Captured at Crown Hall in Chicago and the Off-White FW ‘20 fashion show in Paris, with music by BadBadNotGood, the film celebrates Virgil and the spread of basketball culture.
Look forward to more UNITE films in the coming months.
