The Race-Ready PUMA Speedcat Returns in Two Archival Colorways
The iconic PUMA Speedcat makes a thrilling comeback with two new archive-inspired colorways. This latest iteration not only redefines sneaker culture but also highlights the brand’s rich motorsport heritage. Featuring a lush suede finish, the Speedcat is available in “Light Blue/Navy” and “Haute Coffee/Frosted Ivory.”
A Sleek Design for the Modern Trendsetter
The aerodynamic low-top silhouette showcases an embroidered cat detail on the toe, while logo placements on the tongue and above the Formstrip add a stylish touch. Furthermore, the shoes are designed with a black rubber sole unit, which is reminiscent of F1 racing tires. This ensures both style and functionality, making it a perfect fit for trendsetters.

A Bold Campaign Emphasizing Fearless Self-Expression
To celebrate the release, PUMA has teamed up with NAKED Copenhagen for a rebellious campaign set in the badlands. This high-octane visual narrative not only portrays the Speedcat as an outsider but also challenges the norms of sneaker culture. Additionally, stylist and creative Sierra Rena returns as the muse of the campaign, embodying female energy and fearless self-expression.

A Rich Legacy in Motorsport and Street Style
Originally created in 1999, the PUMA Speedcat lifestyle version draws inspiration from fireproof racing footwear used by Grand Prix drivers in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Notably, this silhouette stands as one of PUMA’s most heritage-rich designs. It has seamlessly transitioned from a performance racing shoe to a street-style icon. Moreover, the recent editions follow the launch of the original black and red Speedcat colorways released in June, which nod to the uniforms of iconic F1 racing teams.
