The PLEASURES x PUMA VELOPHASIS Is a Nostalgic Nod to the 2000s

If you are looking for a sneaker that combines style and comfort, you might want to check out the PLEASURES x PUMA VELOPHASIS. Dubbed the “Overdye”, this sneaker is the result of the collaboration between Pleasures, the Los Angeles-based streetwear brand, and the German sportswear giant Puma. Right on time to join your summer rotation, the sneaker is dressed in a vibrant pink color scheme. The Velophasis “Overdye” follows the same retro-running lines as its predecessors.

Design Details and Features

The PLEASURES x PUMA VELOPHASIS “Overdye” is based on the PUMA COMPLETE line from the 2000s. As a matter of fact, the Complete Line was one of the first lines designed for hybrid running. The shoe has a chunky silhouette with a mesh upper, a semi-translucent cage, and a pink-dyed rubber outsole. The padded collars and mesh lining provide comfort and breathability. Meanwhile, the tonal pink hues add a touch of summer vibrancy.

The shoe also showcases the branding of both partners. In detail, it features the PLEASURES logo on the tongues and lateral cages. Additionally, right below the cages, we can see the Velophasis branding on the exterior side. Finally, the Puma logo sits on both heels and on the top of the tongues.

Style Code: 391696-01
Color: Grape Wine/Mauve Pop

The PLEASURES x PUMA VELOPHASIS will be available on June 24, 2023, at select retailers and online at PLEASURES and PUMA. It is a sneaker that offers a bold and premium look, as well as functionality and comfort. If you are a fan of retro running shoes or streetwear culture, you might want to cop a pair before they sell out.
