Shaquille O’Neal’s Jersey Legends is stepping into the spotlight with Power Moves, a six-part Netflix docuseries premiering June 4, 2025. The show follows Reebok’s cultural revival, led by O’Neal as President of Reebok Basketball and Allen Iverson as Vice President. Together, they aim to reposition the iconic brand at the center of the basketball world.
Filmed across the U.S. and inside Reebok’s Boston headquarters, Power Moves goes beyond boardrooms and sneakers. It captures the urgency, risks, and vision behind Reebok’s high-stakes transformation—led by two legends who helped build the brand from the ground up.
Real Moves, Real Impact
From the very beginning, O’Neal made it clear that this was more than a vanity title. The series documents major milestones, including signing WNBA star Angel Reese to Reebok’s first NIL deal and reigniting energy around performance footwear. These strategic plays demonstrate how Reebok is actively reclaiming its place in the game.
“This isn’t just about sneakers or titles,” said Shaquille O’Neal. “It’s about showing the work behind building something meaningful. Reebok gave me my start, and now I get to help write its next chapter.”
Leading With Legacy
O’Neal’s connection to Reebok stretches back to 1992, when the brand signed him before his rookie season. Fast forward to 2021—he played a key role in Reebok’s acquisition by Authentic Brands Group, where he’s now a shareholder. In 2023, he officially took the reins. Alongside him is Iverson, who helped define Reebok Basketball with the Question and Answer lines after signing in 1996.
According to Todd Krinsky, CEO of Reebok, “There’s a powerful shift happening at Reebok right now, and Power Moves lets the world experience it with us. This isn’t just a comeback—it’s a cultural movement.”
Jersey Legends in Action
Produced by Jersey Legends, a division of Authentic Studios, the docuseries was created by O’Neal and Mike Parris. It’s executive produced by O’Neal, Parris, Colin Smeeton, and others, with Ian Gelfand serving as showrunner. The team behind it previously worked on Emmy-nominated projects like SHAQ and the Oscar-winning Queen of Basketball.
As Smeeton puts it, “This series is the real deal. We’re pulling back the curtain to show the heart, the chaos, and the creativity behind this comeback. It’s not just about basketball or business—it’s about legacy and doing it the Shaq way.”
