The Smoky Mountains span Tennessee and North Carolina. Their surreal fog creates a haze that inspired this release. Bembury captures that atmosphere through cerulean blues for the ridges, coral pink for sunsets, and deep greens for the forest below. As a result, the New Balance 1000 gains a palette that mirrors nature while extending Bembury’s storytelling. He has also explored deserts, sand dunes, and bamboo forests in past collaborations.
