The Nike Kobe 3 Protro takes the shoe Kobe wore during his 2007–08 MVP season and reworks it with modern innovation. Nike has added a full-length Zoom Strobel and a Cushlon 3.0 midsole, delivering more bounce and smoother energy return. The updated traction pattern helps players cut, stop, and explode off the floor with confidence.
The shoe’s net-inspired upper remains, but now it’s backed with breathable mesh. This design provides stronger containment and better airflow, letting athletes stay locked in and cool under pressure.

We listened to wear-test feedback and made real updates. This is a smarter, sharper, better version of an already strong performer.”

Halo Colorway and Mamba League Invitational
The all-white Halo colorway returns for the third year in a row. Its launch on August 23, Kobe’s birthday, is part of Nike’s wider celebration of his competitive spirit. Roughly 70 young athletes, chosen for their skill and determination, will train at Nike Academy before competing in the tournament.
