A$AP Rocky and PUMA Drop Highly-Anticipated Collection

Sports company PUMA and music artist A$AP Rocky have launched their latest collaborative work. This fresh collection features footwear, apparel, and accessories. After its debut at New York Fashion Week, the highly anticipated Mostro 3.D will finally be available for purchase in limited quantities. Additionally, Rocky will unveil his re-engineered Inhale sneaker. This sneaker has an allover distressed treatment and custom embroidery.

Inspiration Behind the Collection

The Inhale Distressed sneaker draws inspiration from car mechanics. It reflects the grease stains and dirt they accumulate while working. Moreover, both the Inhale and other collection pieces showcase a distressed treatment. They also feature authentic racing design elements and A$AP Rocky x PUMA branding.

Rocky’s vision for pushing footwear design boundaries comes to life through the Mostro 3.D. This bold style uses an innovative resin-based 3D printing process.

The full collection includes:

• A$AP Rocky x PUMA Mostro 3.D: This sneaker is a radical reimagining of the PUMA Mostro through 3D printing. Its black and red color scheme, spiky details, and unique shape encourage wearers to take the Mostro 3.D to the streets.
• A$AP Rocky x PUMA Inhale Distressed: This progressive streetwear staple features an allover distressed treatment. It also includes embroidered flames around the Formstrip and a translucent gradient sole.
• A$AP Rocky x PUMA Tank Top: This tank stands out with a puff-printed PUMA Cat Logo. It features tire marks at the chest and AWGE branding at the back. The tank offers a loose fit and a distressed look.
• A$AP Rocky x PUMA Knee Pad Pants: Inspired by pit crew knee pads, these pants boast an oversized PUMA Cat Logo at the front. They also have an embroidered Formstrip at the back pocket.
• A$AP Rocky x PUMA Team Zip Polo: This zip polo is a fusion of streetwear and racing DNA. It features racing graphics, AWGE branding, and a distressed treatment.

Throughout the creative process, A$AP Rocky was heavily involved. He worked on everything from product design to marketing. Rocky expressed excitement about the collection, stating, “It was about time that I put my own spin on some of the best footwear styles that PUMA has to offer. People have been asking nonstop about the Mostro 3.D since the fashion show, so I’m excited to finally get them out.”
