Unveiled on court at the season’s final major in New York, Y-3 brings a fresh edge to tennis apparel and footwear. The Fall/Winter 2025 collection pushes past tradition, finding balance between performance and creativity. Inspired by Japanese ink techniques known as Suibokuga, the designs mirror fossilized amber. Clean silhouettes meet unexpected asymmetry, creating a modern spin on tennis culture.





Performance With a Creative Twist
The range is powered by adidas’ CLIMACOOL technology, built to keep players cool and focused under pressure. Sweat disperses quickly, leaving no room for distraction. Subtle design details carry the performance even further. Hidden zippers add comfort, inner bras bring support, and skirts hide smart storage for tennis balls. Standout pieces like the Y-3 WOW Dress and the Y-3 Tennis FreeLift T-Shirt Pro showcase the bold ink-style graphics, finished with the unmistakable Y-3 logo.











Footwear That Breaks Boundaries
Y-3 also reworks adidas’ most iconic tennis shoes, turning performance staples into statement pieces. The lineup includes the Defiant Speed 2, Avacourt 2, Adizero Ubersonic 5, Barricade 13, and Adizero Cybersonic 2. Each silhouette blends sharp function with Yohji Yamamoto’s disruptive design language, proving that technical footwear can look just as striking as it feels.




A Campaign That Redefines Tennis Imagery
Shot by Michael Hauptman, the campaign flips the lens on what tennis usually looks like. Instead of focusing only on match highlights, it celebrates the overlooked beauty of preparation. The imagery captures adidas athletes Jessica Pegula, Iva Jovic, Sascha Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Jakub Menšík in late-night training sessions, creating an atmospheric portrait of perseverance and creativity working side by side.













Release Information
The Y-3 Tennis Collection launches on August 15, 2025, at 4pm CET and will be available through adidas.com/Y-3.
