This fall, Vault by Vans is proud to announce a collaboration with Aries.
Founded as a celebration of subcultures, female-focused streetwear, and modern creativity, Aries blends modern graphic storytelling with a vintage Americana feel and nostalgic sportswear staples.
Aries’ head-to-toe Vault by Vans capsule aims for an authentic deadstock feel, with a six-shoe footwear collection and three curated apparel items.
Leading the footwear collection is the OG Authentic LX, Vans’ first shoe in two vibrant colorways. The Weed Muted colorway features a multicolor marijuana leaf-inspired pattern on the uppers with pink, black and yellow striped laces, an Aries branded typographic foxing stripe, yellow color blocking on the vulcanized sole, and art nouveau bordered text sidewall art.
The collection also features the OG Sk8-Mid LX in brighter versions of the Weed and Tiger colorways and the Era LX and OG Chukka LX in Tie Dye with Aries tiger stripe sidewall art.
In apparel, the Vault by Vans x Aries Art Trip Hoodie features a bold ’80s inspired typographic cross on the back in orange and yellow gradient, with a hybrid of Vans’ logo housed within Aries’ signature columns and roof on the front chest. Novelty drawcords complete the look. A multicolor short sleeve tie-dyed tee also features the collaboration logo on the chest, with a large, inverted iteration on the back. A knit jacquard beanie boasts oversized Vans and Aries logos, also inverting the Vans logo for a “goes against the grain” vibe. All styles are screen printed and Made in the USA or Italy.
The Vault by Vans x Aries collaboration will be available beginning september 11, 2021 at Vault by Vans retail locations.
