“Flare The Square” Skateboarding Contest
Are you ready to Flare the Square? Join us on 27 May 2023 at Kotzia Square for a skateboarding contest like no other. The Ministry of Concrete, in partnership with Vans and the Athens City Festival, invites you to witness the skills and tricks of professional and amateur skaters from all over Greece. But that’s not all. You can also enjoy live music, DJs, street food, and a lot of fun in the heart of Athens. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate street culture and diversity with us. Everyone is welcome!
🕛The event starts with a warmup from 13:00
🌈The contest is for all genders.
🤑Cash prizes worth 1050€ will be given for the best runs from MOC and Vans Skate
🔊The winners of the Samsung Best Trick contest will win a Sound Tower MX-ST40B speaker from Samsung Greece
✒️The MVP of the night will be marked with a tattoo from Athens Tattoo Studio
🪪Participants will have to indicate their identity for their registration.
👦👧Minors who want to participate, will have to submit a responsible statement from their guardian certified by a KEP or through gov.gr
🍻No one will be thirsty, as our favorite Lagunitas Beer and Milokleftis will be there
🍔No one will go hungry as there will be the Convoy Food Truck, with an awesome menu!
🧑🦽The event will be fully accessible as it will have an exclusive space and toilets for people with disabilities.
📍The event will take place on Saturday, May 27th at Kotzia Square, opposite the Athens City Hall on Athinas Street.
