Adidas SPZL is marking its 10th anniversary with the DECADE pack, a tribute to the brand’s rich heritage and innovative future. This special release reimagines four iconic silhouettes from the past decade, showcasing the creative vision of Gary Aspden. The Classic Garwen SPZL
The Garwen SPZL, inspired by the original adidas Brisbane leisure shoes, gets a stylish update in light brown, putty, and gum. The leather upper with suede accents and perforations on the toe box adds a sophisticated touch. Meanwhile, the metal Trefoil branding offers a nod to the brand’s legacy. This blend of retro inspiration and contemporary design makes the Garwen SPZL a standout piece in the DECADE pack.
Reviving the Lacombe SPZL
Next, the Lacombe SPZL returns in a sleek white, chalk white, and dark blue colorway. This edition features a breathable mesh tongue with patent leather branding, reminiscent of vintage Made in France models. The addition of a suede toe enhances durability. A New Take on the Blackburn SPZL
The Blackburn SPZL, originally a crowd favorite in 2019, is reimagined by combining elements from the Blackburn SPZL and Blackburn Ewood SPZL. Honoring the Ardwick SPZL
Rounding out the DECADE pack is the Ardwick SPZL, a beloved silhouette first introduced in 2014 in collaboration with Manchester’s Oi Polloi. This anniversary edition maintains the original’s charm with a revised T Toe and new tongue branding. The moss green colorway is complemented by chocolate brown foxing, a tweak from the original black. The reversed leather upper ensures each pair is unique, continuing the Ardwick’s legacy of individuality.
