This season, adidas and Pharrell Williams return to the sport of basketball with two striking new color updates to the PW 0-60 sneaker. First launched in early 2020, the performance basketball silhouette fuses several contemporary design influences and draws from the aesthetic codes of varying sporting disciplines.
Crafted with innovation and on-court performance in mind, the high-top sneaker features a side zip for easy entry and a strap closure. Bringing an elevated sense of fit and comfort, the PW 0-60 includes an adjustable inner bootie as well as BOOST cushioning that is subtly incorporated into the tooling.
Using motocross as a source of unlikely inspiration, the PW 0-60 silhouette is revealed in two distinct colorways; Black/Silver/White and Blue/Silver/White. Both pairs are replete with striking wraparound 3-Stripes that represent the sense of competition that drives and unites every discipline of sport.
Accompanying the footwear launch is a basketball inspired campaign created in collaboration with American contemporary artist Tyrrell Winston whose signature style recontextualizes objects from familiar landscapes. Exhibiting one of the artist’s iconic installations created around basketballs, the campaign deftly brings together the worlds of art and sport while accentuating the bold lines of the PW 0-60 silhouette.
Launching globally on September 26th, both colorways of the PW 0-60 sneaker are available through adidas.com/pharrell and Phat Soles (both stores).
